EL PALMERAL

El Palmeral is a voluntary conservation project with the mission of protecting ten hectares of a beautiful cloud forest in Oxapampa, Peru.

​

We take care of the forest and its immense biodiversity so that it continues to provide us with important ecosystem services, especially the natural production of water.

​

We protect the habitat of a wide variety of flora and fauna species, some in a vulnerable state, and we are restoring forest areas that were deforested in the past, so that they are full of life again.

Visit us and live transformative experiences in connection with nature. Participate from our walks,  enjoy healing forest baths,  fall in love with the local birds or stay in our forest cabins.

ENVIRONMENTAL INTERPRETATION WALKS

Get to know our project closely and learn about the importance of caring for and conserving humid forests, while we travel along trails within the forest and enjoy beautiful landscapes and the singing of birds.

Our Restoration project seeks to recover some important species of native trees that were cut down indiscriminately in the past.
