EL PALMERAL

El Palmeral is a voluntary conservation project with the mission of protecting ten hectares of a beautiful cloud forest in Oxapampa, Peru.

​

We take care of the forest and its immense biodiversity so that it continues to provide us with important ecosystem services, especially the natural production of water.

​

We protect the habitat of a wide variety of flora and fauna species, some in a vulnerable state, and we are restoring forest areas that were deforested in the past, so that they are full of life again.

Visit us and live transformative experiences in connection with nature. Participate from our walks,  enjoy healing forest baths,  fall in love with the local birds or stay in our forest cabins.

BIRDWATCHING

Oxapampa is a bird paradise, an ideal place to observe and photograph them. It doesn't matter if you are just getting into this wonderful hobby and have no experience yet, or if you are at an advanced level, it is an activity for everyone!
